01 — Project Overview

Game Ready Bomb Prop

Hard-Surface Modeling & PBR Texturing

Personal 3D hard-surface prop created as a game art exercise, focusing on modeling, geometry optimization and realistic material development.

Modeled using Blender and Maya, the asset was developed through a high-to-low-poly workflow, including subdivision modeling, texture baking and optimized geometry.

PBR textures were created in Substance 3D Painter using a 4K texture map, with attention to painted surfaces, wear, electronic details, cables and synthetic materials.

Additional graphic elements and custom labels were designed in Photoshop.

The project was completed in approximately four hours, excluding rendering and post-production.
